The rise UP song came to me during times of financial struggle, unemployment, and on the verge of sleeping in my van. With very basic guitar skills and a heart ready to burst I decided to write myself a song. Something to keep my soul on the roll. It was either this track or the railroad tracks in a way. Using two simple chords and the two fingers that we make a peace sign I plucked away on a tune. The lyrics followed and a song was born. I performed this song at an open mic at the Gypsy Den in Santa Ana and the amazing Daniel Nahmod approached me afterwards and offered to record the song for me at his studio Humanity Music. Daniel was magical in recording, arranging, producing, and performing bass, drums, & keys on what became the rise UP song. It started out as You'll Believe. 


This song is inspirational, motivational, and spiritual for me at least. I believe we can all relate at one point or another in the ebb and flow of life. Weather you are recovering from a sports injury, broken heart, or in a financial pitfall.... Keep Faith, Believe, One day you will RISE UP!
