DEAD - the uncompromising debut album from one of the UK's most essential and in-demandbands, Young Fathers, is getting a deluxe reissue befitting of it's status to celebrate a decadesince the original release as part of Record Store Day 2024.Upon release in 2014, the album was the winner of the Mercury Music Prize and was celebratedas one of the albums of the year throughout the music press.

The album took the genre defyingScotting trio from underground heroes to being well on their way to one of the countries mostcherished collectives. In the ten years that have passed since DEAD, Young Fathers havereleased three more acclaimed albums, including Heavy Heavy in 2023 which was also nominatedfor the Mercury and saw them play many huge shows including a triumphant Glastonbury set onthe West Holts as well as join Depeche Mode as 'Special Guests' on a worldwide stadium tour.
