Yusef Lateef 5et Jazz for the thinkers w.C.Fuller-H.Lawson Savoy mono DG red RVG Yusef Lateef Quintet ' Jazz for thinkers ' SAVOY MG 12109 (USA) mono red label with deep groove - rec. in 1957 - on trail off (dead wax) has RVG for Rudy Van Gelder Yusef Lateef : tenor sax, flutes, percussions etc. - Curtis Fuller : trombone - Ernie Farrow : bass - Hugh Lawson : piano - Louis Hayes : drums Side A : Happyology - O' blues Side B : Midday - Polarity - Space All compositions by Yusef Lateef Visual grading : record is EX full lustre has very light wear. Clean labels with some spindle wear Playing grading : record is VG+ plays well with loud and clear sound. Has some light background noise much below music's level and more audible in last track of side A, in first grooves of side B and in few quieter passages (i.e. bass solo). Has also some light occasional ticks on both sides Cover grading : cover is VG+ has light wear to corners, edges and to spine which has a tiny piece of paper missing in the bottom.
