Includes rare version of the Jewish National Anthem: HATIKVAH, sung by a choir of 250 voices made up of the chorus of the Tel Aviv Opera and the Workers' Chorus Hasharon, under the direction of Shlomo Kaplan, accompanied by the Orchestra of the Tel Aviv Opera.
This album is extremely rare. Recorded in Palestine beginning in the spring of 1946 and completed in June, 1947. Released in 1947. Includes handwritten inscription dated 1955.
There are no other copies of this record available online. Very obscure, but has historical significance.
Includes original leaflet. Discs are completely scratch free with no visible signs of wear or use. Disc sleeves are likewise pristine. The spine of the album exterior is slightly tattered..
