Every Tuesday between 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm (European Time) I will offer old Punk records. My name is ‘punky_music’
Excellent melody punk / powerpop from California. Here’s the comment from the wonderful FLEX book (US Hardcore/Punk discography):
- One of the earliest LA punk rock records; nice Ramones meet Beach Boys sound and good choruses. Still some rock influence, but not that bad; melodic but a bit harmless. [7]
- Früher LA Punk Rock mit schönem Ramones-meet-Beach-Boys-Sound und tollen Chören. Ein bißchen Rock-Einfluß ist auch noch dabei, stört aber kaum. Netter, harmloser Stoff.
You are bidding on the original first pressing, released on private mini label ‘Back Door Man’ records in 1977 (catalogue number 5002). The same sold on eBay, in January 2013, for €24 and in December 2012, for €22 (Euro). The fantastic A-sider named ‘He’s A Rebel’ and includes all elements of a true melody-maker. The wonderful flip called ‘You’re So Strange’.

Mailing / Versand: alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen 7“ Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden (all records will be sent in plain white 7“ sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits). Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt (all records will be shipped in special record mailers, two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending).
Payment / Bezahlung: Deutsche per Banküberweisung. Non-Germans via PayPal.
