Description
In 1982, the heavy metal band Znowhite was founded by two African American brothers, guitarist Ian Tafoya and drummer Sparks Tafoya (real names: Greg Fulton and Tony Heath), along with cousin Nicky Tafoya (real name: Curtis Fulton) on bass. Nicole Lee (real name: Sue Sharp) joined the group soon after as lead vocalist. The band originally performed under the title Snowhite, but later replaced the S with a Z. They independently released their three-song flexi-disc which featured the song "Hellbent". This caught the attention of Metal Blades Records founder Brian Slagel. On the strength of the recording, Znowhite landed a spot on Volume III of the "Metal Massacre" compilation, which helped give them some exposure. This is the 1984 US (VERY RARE) Vinyl LP Pressing on the Enigma Records label. The catalog # on the spine is: E-1077. It also contains the even MORE IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND 7" CLEAR (GERMAN / PROMO) FLEXI-DISC. Please see pictures. The vinyl LP is visually graded by Goldmine standards as NEAR MINT. Vinyl is shiny and the labels are clean. The 7" Clear (Flexi) Single is also NEAR MINT. Cover is graded as EX / EX+. Record has been stored in a heavy duty anvil case since 2006. Has not even been in the light for 15 years! Record will be shipped following business day as soon as payment is received.
