Description

This is the great lost incidental music from George A. Romero's classic movie

ZOMBI:Dawn Of The Dead

This is NOT the Goblin score but all the great lost incidental library.

This brings together all the superb musical madness and the dark electronics out of the 100+ cues Romero used in the film. The tracks selected are the longest and most distinctive in the film. Best of all is 'The Gonk', a truly insane piece of  mechanical, almost hypnotic big band jazz. Following on from 'The Gonk' is a truly weird and wonderful menagerie of tracks -- including the rare country blues cut 'Cause I'm A Man' performed by "The Electric Banana" (the legendary De Wolfe Library band which included members of "The Pretty Things"). This album is a unique and very different soundtrack recording because it blends so many genres together almost too perfectly. Country, ragtime, electronics, dramatic oddness, you name it, it's on this LP. These original cues were found for the film by none other than Dario Argento. It's this music that makes the film even darker, weirder and more humorous. It also works as a great album in its own right.
