Description
LEGENDARY US psychedelic masterpiece from the Zoo circa 1968 - PRESENTS CHOCOLATE MOOSE on Ed Cobb's Sunburst label. Featuring a 15-year-old Howard Leese who, seven years later, would help start Mushroom Records and start the career of Ann and Nancy Wilson and Heart with "Dreamboat Annie." Originals of this album have all but dried up now (can't find another one on this site at all), and have soared in value.
This is an original 1968 pressing on the US Sunburst label. Cover's in VG shape with a 4" split seam on the top edge, writing on the front and back cover and some moderate staining on the back from normal storage use.
Let's be honest - vinyl grading these days is very subjective. That's why I'll give you some soundclips with each auction so you can judge for yourself how the album sounds - every clip comes from the album you're bidding on. If I had to grade this one I'd say it's a VG+ on average, sometimes much better, but some cuts have scattered pops. Check out the three song clips below which'll give you a pretty good representation of what to expect.
