Description
The record you are viewing is part of a collection acquired through a successful auction bid. The product purchased is from a deceased record store owner whose doors closed circa 1970, having made a run of it during the 60's. An incredibly large volume of LPs remained, many in new (sealed) or pristine condition and properly stored. These will comprise the bulk of offerings I will be posting on eBay. With a vast and well preserved inventory, it will take time to sift through and uncover the many hidden gems that await. My goal is to present these finds to eBay buyers in a timely and systematic manner. I am aware finds of this nature are indeed rare, but the fact is, the records I will be listing have sat undisturbed for over 40 years waiting to be rediscovered, shared and enjoyed. I hope you will find some items you've been wanting and can be part of, what I feel, is an historical find. All items kept in smoke-free, pet-free environment.
Microgroove MONO vinyl LP New Jazz NJ 8280 (RVG stamped in dead wax side one) - released 1962
Vinyl EX retains newish shine and gloss. No handling or play marks. May have been played once or twice previously. Test played once on NAD C555 turntable revealed mostly clear resonant analogue sound. Detected one pop between tracks one and two side one and a modicum of surface beginning track two side one - but very minimal. Superior pressing and recording. VG + cover has straight spine and seams. Two small pin holes upper left corner. Some edge and rear cover discoloration consistent with age. Inspection stamp rear panel. Small stub lower spine.
