Year:  1961 (side 1 performances recorded in 1954, and side 2 performances recorded in 1959)

Personnel: 

Side 1:  Zoot Sims – tenor;  Bobby Brookmeyer – piano on 1-1, 1-3, and 1-4;  valve trombone on 1-2);  Jon Eardley – trumpet (1-2 only), Gerry Mulligan – baritone sax (1-2 and 1-4) and piano (1-3);  Red Mitchell – bass;  Larry Bunker – drums.

Side 2:  Zoot Sims – tenor;  Russ Freeman – piano;  Billy Bean – guitar (2-1 only);  Jim Hall – guitar (2-2 and 2-3);  Monte Budwig – bass;  Mel Lewis - drums.   

Condition: 

DISC:  Vinyl is gorgeous NM with full original gloss.  Flawless vinyl and labels.  Fidelity is superb.   You will not find a nicer copy anywhere.  

JACKET:   Condition of jacket is nice VG++.   Nice bright artwork, seams.  Very slight bumps at 2 corners.  Reverse is clean and white except for very slight moisture staining around edges, and name of original owner (B. King) in pencil.  Overall a very presentable jacket.
