ZZ Top's sixth studio album, Deguello, first released in 1979, rides the hard shoulder of blues, boogie, and hard rock; tracks like 'I'm Bad, I'm Nationwide' and 'Cheap Sunglasses' became staples of their live set, each laced with Billy F Gibbons' signature guitar grr and Dusty Hill's steady bass brums. The 2025 Rocktober reissue on Rhino Hi-Fi presents the album newly remastered for vinyl, pressed on 180g, housed in a gatefold sleeve with an insert including a Q&A with Gibbons conducted by James Austin.
