ZZ Top 1st Press OZ LP Rio grande mud VG+ '72 London SAHA7801 Blues rock
Original 1st Press OZ LP released in 1972 on London Records. Cat: SAHA7801.
With their second album, Rio Grande Mud, ZZ Top uses the sound they sketched out on their debut as a blueprint, yet they tweak it in slight but important ways. The first difference is the heavier, more powerful sound, turning the boogie guitars into a locomotive force. There are slight production flares that date this as a 1972 record, but for the most part, this is a straight-ahead, dirty blues-rock difference.

There are some spindle marks on labels. Record has some light scuff marks and a few very light scratches that cause some crackles and is in VG+ condition. Cover has a sticker stain, a few small pen marks and a small piece of sticky tape on top right corner, also some ring wear and light marks and is in VG+ condition.
Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
