Description

This is the original 1969 UK printed ‘Uncle Meat booklet / concert programme. It is not to be confused with the more common US version of the booklet, it has totally different content. It is printed by the Hastings Printing Company Sadly the cover is missing on this copy, and there are a few marks (cup ring!) and some damage to the first page - see photos.
There is much discussion about whether this booklet was issued with the first few copies of the Transatlantic UK pressing of Uncle Meat or whether it was sold at Zappa’s May and June 1969 UK concerts, or both. This copy was found in the sleeve of an original ‘we’re only in it for the money’.
