Description
Sensational 2nd pressing on Polydor Verve of this classic Mothers of Invention LP!
2317-034 A1/B1 matrix nos. - early 1970s.
Sleeve is EX++ outside and inside the gatefold - the laminate is in superb condition, with no laminate lifting (except for an exceedingly small amount on the spine) and a small amount of very light rubbing in a few areas, mainly due to the outline of the LP on the back cover.
The spine is clear and fully legible. There is hardly any wear or creasing to the edges or corners, apart from a small amount of wear to the bottom right corners and bottom edge, and very light creasing to the spine.
The LP plays beautifully with no unwanted clicks, pops, or surface noise!
The vinyl is in fantastic EX++ shape - there only a couple of faint spindle marks and a small amount of very light sleeve removal marks which can only be seen under a very strong light. There is a small cluster of surface marks (about 1 cm across - see last photo) on track 3 side 2 at about 9 o'clock, which again can only be seen under a stronger light. These cannot be heard or felt - I play-tested it just now to check!
I will post in a strong mailer with cardboard stiffeners.
