Description
This is Zerfas on 700 West recording. The dead wax reads LH 10717 and LH 10718. I know that this is a pretty rate album so will describe it as well as I can. If you have questions message me. All sales are final.
The front cover has minor ring wear. The top right corner where it reads stereo feels like it may have been wet at one time. The opening of the sleeve has a little wave in this area. You have to hold it at an angle to see this. No evidence of ever being wet inside. This same wave is on the same corner on the rear. The spine and edges are all fully intact with minor corner wear. There is wear to the rear best illustrated by the photos. The plain white liner is slightly yellowed with bent corners and will be included. I’m not a record expert but I think that the sleeve would rate very good. Read my description and look at the images and you decide.
I cleaned the record to the best of my ability and it has a pretty nice sheen. The labels look nice. There is a light scratch on side a running through tracks 2, 3, and 4 and very lightly into the label. You can not feel it. There is also a small one visible in track 1 (can’t feel it either). These are in the image near the dead wax mark coming off that area. Side B has several minor scratches visible on close inspection but nothing that you can feel. I played the entire album and there are no skips or hang ups nor did I hear any reoccurring ticks from scratches. Numerous tracks had surface noise some very noticeable and other almost silent. Generally they are in more quiet passages and between tracks. Here are my observations
You Never Win
This has substantial surface noise at the beginning through the section that sound like reverse tracks. When the music picks up it is barely audible except in the quiet passages at the end.
