Hello.
You are bidding on an original LP copy of The Zombies Odessey And Oracle.
This is the original, stereo pressing LP released on Date Records (Date TES 1043).
The matrix number is XSM 137383.
It is not a reissue.
The vocals, mellotron and other instruments really & truly leap out of your speakers, unlike the inferior reissues that have been released in recent years. Even my friend’s 11 year old daughter who loves listening Bruno Mars MP3s can hear the difference between the original LP and the recent reissues.
This record is in excellent (EX++) condition. Conservatively, this is graded an 7.7 out of 10. The record itself is in superb shape. There are some extremely light paper marks that one must really look for in reflective light. They are barely noticeable unless you keep a watchful eye for them.
The cardboard sleeve has many scuffs around the edges and light ring wear on both sides. Additionally, the person who originally bought this album took it upon themselves to write his and his girlfriend’s name in black ink marker on the back of the cardboard sleeve, adding a sweet dedication to her. He wrote something similar on the paper insert sleeve as well (see photos). Personally, I find this charming and sweet knowing this LP had some love and affection attached to it at one time. That said, it does slightly degrade the item to excellent condition. The writing does not affect the quality of the vinyl itself (much less the splendor of the great music on this record).

I’m not necessarily keen on selling this, but recent health and financial circumstances dictate passing this along to a new home. This LP will make a fine addition to anyone’s collection who loves music.
