Description
This is the original 10” deep groove pressing of Zoot Sims “Quartet” on Discovery DL 3015. The playing surface is in excellent condition, with a beautiful luster; however, all copies of 3015 are notorious for surface noise - as is true for this copy – but the music comes through crisp and clear. The textured cover is also in excellent condition – clean and bright throughout; a few dark spots along the spine; ½” split/wear on the bottom seam, at the opening. Personnel include Jerry Wiggins, Pierre Michelot, and Kenny Clarke. $75.00.
