Well happy ACCA DACCA fans, presented before you here now is one of the rarest copies of Dirty Deeds on the planet.
How do I know that? It's an Australian World Record Club release and as many would realise it wasn't exactly famous for distributing hard rock in fact it's primary market was built on a solid base of easy listening, classical, male and female vocal, country and some basic popular music so whoever had the brain snap at WRC to dip their toe in the murky waters of hard rock I thank you.
And being a mail order company who's established database was overwhelmingly loaded with customers from earlier generations the chances of moving many copies of Dirty Deeds World Record Club Release was extremely minimal, and they didn't.
I have collected records for longer than I care to recall and have handled, bought and sold more copies of this album than I could possibly remember and this is the only copy I've ever laid eyes on. In fact, I'm willing to bet that there will be many hard core collector's around the world who are not even aware of the existence of this release so here is your chance to own something precious and very very rare.
Condition wise the vinyl has a wonderful gloss with no noticeable scratches or scuffs although some may be discovered under a strong light and only a couple of very faint spindle marks on the otherwise unmarked labels and I could safely say it's in at least vg+ condition using Goldmines grading scale.
The front cover has some slight ringwear and minor wear, the spines are all intact with the wording fully legible and the printing overall is a slightly darker shade than most other copies.
The insert only has a couple of small stains.
I have never played this record myself and have always handled it with extreme care except for one careless stuff up that I greatly regret.
A drink was unknowingly spilt one night many years ago and it stuck the back of the cover to another and the result can be seen in the photographs. But with my weird imagination, as much as it hurts me to see the damage I caused, each time I do I get a flash of Bon with his arm around me and while giving me a toothy grin says something like "suck eggs, ya silly f@#ker" then let's out a friendly cackle. And that's always been strangely comforting and has helped me get over it lol.
But as they say in the classics, it is what it is, and you can be assured the starting price would have been a lot higher without it.
This fine record will be packed and shipped with utmost care.
Its time to sell which can be your gain and is a great opportunity to add some very special Aussie AC/DC to your collection.
