Description

1005 North La Cienega Blvd., West Hollywood, CA 90069 is the address of the Alta Cienega Motel that Jim Morrison used to stay at quite often from 1968-1970.  Although he may have stayed in different rooms, room #32 is the “Jim Morrison Room”.   Fans will stay there and cover the room in graffiti to have it repainted by management and then the process starts over.

This very rare postcard was issued late sixties while Morrison was living at the Motel. Morrison also filmed a part of his film HWY at the Alta cienega (2nd pic).
