e © AP6.0 This is a fantastic 45!!! The band is Kardaslar and the lead singer, featured "leader" is actually their bass and kemane (I'll briefly explain it!) player Seyhan Karabay. This is a jewel from 1975. Fantastic funky playing with cool wah and jazzy guitar playing. On side A one of the solo instruments is electric saz and on side B it is this "kabak kemane" which is a truly ancient Turkish instrument which has a trunk of dried pumpkin and played with bow. It really has a unique, otherworldly sound which you can also hear on the sample! Super rare 45, not something that would pop up every once in a while!! Dig it!
Very much luckily I could find another copy of this again! Both cover and disc are great VG++ bordering on EX.
