original press, on the private A MAJOR LABEL label, from 1976. see photos below, this is the very first, and very rare, pressing of this lp. blue and white cover, both sides, and the black and white label, only 500 pressed. includes original insert. recorded by jim spencer. rated an R4 by fuzz acid and flowers, it also states "Hailed from Indianapolis, Indiana, but recorded on a label based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, by Jim Spencer. This is a superb album of melodic guitar driven rock which blends exquisitely with Marsha's vocals on tracks like J Rider, Up To You, Pick Up And Run and Baby Come Risin', which is probably the album's finest moment. If you like ringing guitar work and harmonic vocals, this album is for you. They've been likened to Jefferson Airplane!". this is the first original copy of this i have seen. anonymous is ron matelic; marsha rollings; glenn weaver; and john medvescek. songs include: who's been foolin; j rider; up to you; shady lay; pick up and run; we got more; sweet lilac; and baby come risin'. email with questions. vinyl has been cleaned on a VPI. vinyl is VG, has some light to moderate marks, some of which make some light noise, plays pretty great despite the way it looks. cover is VG as well, with a dent in lower left corner causing some splitting (about 3"), moisture damage along bottom quarter of cover, nothing bad, just some discoloration. a very rare lp, seldom seen, even in it's city of origin. buyer pays shipping. i accept money orders and paypal. please check out my other auctions, as i am selling off all the records i never wanted to sell.........but now i want to buy a home, so it's time to let them go. more psych; funk; soul; jazz and other oddities will be added weekly, so keep checking my listings. thanks for looking and good luck.
