i am selling off a large part of my personal record collection. having collected lps for the last 25 years i have gathered together a significant and diverse collection.

all lps cds will be posted in cruciform box mailers with 2 cardboard stiffeners to ensure the lps are fully protected. all lps will be removed from their sleeves before shipping.

DESCRIPTION

as a collector i recognise the importance of an honest description when buying vinyl records off ebay. Earlier this month i bought an lp off ebay and the seller had forgot to mention the back of the sleeve was covered in blue paint!! i will provide you with a full description of the record you are bidding. i will also test the record on my own REGA P3 / CYRUS 8VS2 / GRAHMA SLEE PHONO STAGE + REGA R5 set up. this way you get a summary of how the record sounds warts and all and not just some observation based on how shiny the record looks. i will not refer to the rare record price guide and use this as a means of assuring ou over the record. ULTIMATELY how it sounds is the most important issue.

LABELS HAVE GRAMOPHONE CO RIMS AT 9.00 0'CLOCK ON LABELS AND "SOLD IN THE UK TEXT"

THE LABELS ARE NICE AND BRIGHT AND CLEAN WITHOUT ANY DAMAGE. THERE ARE SOME NOTICEABLE SPINDLE MARKS. 

RECORD SLEEVE AND INNER SLEEVE ( where appropriate)

THE OUTER SLEEVE IS THE FULLY LAMINATED GARROD AND LOFTHOUSE SLEEVE WITH INNER FLIPBACKS. THE SPINE AND THE LETTERING IS FULLY INTACT. THE EDGES AND CORNERS ARE FREE FROM RUBBING OR DAMAGE ALL NICE AND STRAIGHT. THE LAMINATE IS FULLY INTACT WITHOUT ANY CRAZING OR SPLITTING. SLEEVE IS OVERALL EXCELLENT CONDITION.

COMES COMPLETE WITH SGT PEPPER CUT OUT SHEET IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITHOUT ANY DAMAGE OR CREASING - FULLY INTACT

LP IS HOUSED IN PLAIN WHITE "PATENTS PENDING" SLEEVE

RECORD AND HOW IT SOUNDS

THE RECORD DOES HAVE SURFACE MARKS AND OBVIOUS SIGNS OF PLAY BUT OVERALL IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. I HAVE LISTENED TO THE RECORD FROM START TO FINISH ON BOTH SIDES AND WHILE THERE IS SOME OCCASIONAL SURFACE NOISE IN THE QUIETER PARTS THERE ARE NO SIGNIFCANT DISTORTIONS. THE RECORD PLAYS WITHOUT ANY JUMPS OR SKIPS OR NASTY POPS. OCCCASIONAL HISS AND SOME MINOR CRACKLING OVERALL THE SOUND IS REALLY QUITE GOOD.
