This special LP was produced by dbx in conjunction with audio manufacturer BSR in Britain; a record that lays claim amongst audiophiles as one of the finest dbx records ever released.

It features Kiril Kondrashin at baton over the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain and was recorded by Angus McKenzie, one of England’s finest audio pioneers. (I am told he is blind and therefore possesses an acutely sensitive hearing ability that most can’t even fathom, let alone match.)

Music selections include Shostakovich SYMPHONY No. 9 and Ravel RAPSODIE ESPAGNOL, all captured in Royal Festival Hall.

Cover of this classic from dbx is without fault, record within is very well cut and despite a mark upfront on side 1 plays near mint.
