Description
For sale are 7 fairy/ethereal dresses made by Homburgs of Leeds, which would be ideal for a chorus of fairy folk in Midsummer Nights Dream. The bodices are lined, the skirt of the dresses are not lined and the hem is cut in a handkerchief hem.
The dresses are made from light weight voile and have a small number of seams to check and stitches needed - I have listed the flaws again each dress below.
The dresses have longish skirts, braid around the neckline and long flowing sleeves. There are four purple and three lilac. I have rolled the dresses so they now fit inside a grey postal bag and can be sent by Royal mail.
Sizes : purple - 2 x 34" bust/26"waist - one dress needs hem of one sleeve stitched, 36" bust/28" waist, 48" bust/42" waist
Sizes : lilac - 40" bust/30" waist, 36"bust/28"waist- wear to edge of zip seam and stitch to shoulder seam needed, 40" bust/36"waist - needs a stitch at waistband.

Mostly the items for sale come from my stock of Theatrical Hire Costumes, a business I have just retired from. I have many thousands to sell, so please keep coming back to look for costumes you may need. I don't mind anyone messaging me to see if I have a particular article, if I do have the costume, I will list it with a buy in now price and notify you when it will be listed.
I am not accepting returns unless I have made a mistake and totally mis-described the item because I am trying to clear my storage areas.
The costumes are all ex-theatre hire, and as such may show signs of wear and tear, alterations and adjustments. My costumes are all in very good condition, but if there is a flaw it will be listed in the description. These costumes are not fancy dress garments, they will have been made or sourced specifically for actors in productions so please check my measurements.
Measurements are taken with the garments laid flat, and as such allowance must be made for a body to fit inside. The easiest way to check is to measure an article of clothing the wearer already owns against my measurements.
Some costumes are very bulky and heavy, so will be sent by courier, I use MyHermes on their 3-5 working day delivery service. Otherwise I send costumes by second class post via Royal Mail. Collection can be arranged from the GL14 area on the outskirts of the Forest of Dean, this can be organised after payment has been made via paypal.
I try to post every day except Tuesdays, but, I allow myself three days to arrange post and packaging. If items are needed urgently buyers will need to contact me before payment is made so that we can make arrangements for a quicker delivery and alter the invoice.
I will always try to combine postage if buyers purchase more than one item. However, depending on the weight it still might be more cost effective to send two separate parcels. Please wait until I invoice before paying if buying more than one item.
