Description
Hey soul music folks, (To hear the flip side of this 45, go to Inuz Moore and listen to the second song.) I apologize for revising this description one last time. I am new at adding sound to an auction. I was just now able, for the first time, to listen to the sound through headphones and my original description was accurate when I said that there is some distortion on the left side of the headphones, which comes from the 45. My record player started to malfunction about at the same time as I graded the 45 so I was confused by it. Anyway, you can hear it on the playback. I'll get it right next time the first time.(I will be unable to answer any questions about this item after 2:30, Pacific time, this coming Friday because I am using library computers. I'm on the road looking for records and tuning pianos. I couldn't even listen to my auction for the first four days because of Easter weekend.) James Polk Twink label (no number on label. 711 is in the dead wax.) Power Struggle/ Never Give Him Up As of April 5 I am changing the description: My former decription was inaccurate because one channel of my record player is malfunctioning and I thought the fault was in the record. There is gray in the grooves at the loudest places (there are alot of loud places) and there is some lose of fidelity. I mean, it's not as clear as when it was new. There is a fairly deep scratch on the total duration but there are so many tamborines and rhythm that it is noticable only with 4 or 5 pops, if you listen closely. If you weren't listening for it, you probably wouldn't notice it. The label is nice with just the beginning of a ring. "Never Give Him Up" has a scratch half way through. It might be noticable, I can't remember (consider it noticable). The first side is the dance record. The label has some scraping on it and the white shows through. See my other auction of the Inuz Moore 45. Disregard all of the boxes that Ebay supplies. All pertinent information will be in this text. I have sold records for 35 years. Canadian and overseas buyers will discuss how they want to have the 45 shipped and they will pay all the shipping costs (no handling fees added). Thank you
