I apologize for the quality of some of these sound clips, if there is a constant background hum or hiss it is from my (outdated) recording process and likely not from the 45rpm record itself.

ARTIST: The Velvet Tones

LABEL: Capital City Sound Recording, no#, original ACETATE studio recording

CONDITION:   VG+ or better, super! Very solid condition! The disc is extremely clean and glossy with few light marks/spots, looks fantastic! The disc has not been cleaned, which is hardly needed, but I will look even better after a careful cleaning. I didn't have any distilled water on hand, so I left it as it is. The labels are crisp, clean and show little to no wear.

COMMENTS:  These recordinings have just recently been discovered. They have never even been known to exist, let alone offered anywhere before. Here's your chance to add something TRULY rare to your DOO WOP collection that NO ONE ELSE has!!!. This group, The Velvet Tones, is a WHITE VOCAL GROUP from OHIO. Not to be confused with recording artists "The Velvetones" or "Velvatones". This Ohio Velvet Tones included Gene Cotton (Cottin) who later became an accomplished recording artists. The band name, Velvet Tones, does NOT appear on the label of the acetate. The songs on this three track acetate were never released on vinyl, and they are all cover songs. This disc will make a fantastically RARE addition to your DOO WOP collection. Vintage, unreleased, original studio recording, doo wop, group vocal, acetate. If you collect the RAREST of group vocal discs, don't miss this oppertunity. Recorded at Capital City Studios in Columbus, Ohio. A rare piece of Ohio music history for the Ohio collector/completist.  The disc is in extremely collection-worthy condition, bid with confidence.
