VERY RARE DOO WOP ACETATE - from the RICHCRAFT recording company , BROOKLYN N.Y. - although there is no year on labels . this is very likley from late 50's or early 60's as it still has the old style postal code . the 5 digit zipcodes did not start until 1963 . i am assuming this was unreleased as i cannot find any info about the songs .
ACETATE record is VG ( many light lines/marks/light scratches , and a few moderate scratches . some of which are feelable with the edge of a fingernail , and a very small area where some of the surface is just starting to crack/lift from age on the first half of side one . ( see pic ) it appears to be stable right now , as it is NOT loose , yet . it did play through , but does sound . side one starts out with some louder ticking from the cracks in the thin layer , then plays well with some moderate surface noise and with some ticking , please note that the music is at a low level . meaning the recording or mastering has the music down low , compared to normal 45's . side two about the same , but without the louder ticking . BUT , this is my opinion , please listen to the partial clips in the jukebox above , and make up your own mind . one song follows the other . NO skips on my turntable with lightweight tonearm and light tracking force . )
