Description
this is an absolute lost masterpiece. this megarare 100% absolute classic LP by the fleetwood mac member jeremy spencer is his self titled 1970 album, its a UK original issue on the reprise 3 colours steamboat label and comes in a gatefold sleeve. he is backed by all the fleetwod mac members of the time peter green, mick fleetwood, john mcvie, danny kirwan and a saxophonist called stephen gregory. this album was a very clever concept for the time and a simply wonderful listening experience. all the songs are spencer originals except one. the album consists of 12 tracks where on each track jeremy spencer and the group mimic a famous groups of the time, so on one song the group sound like the Kinks singing a fleetwood mac song, and on another the beach boys etc etc , its geat fun identifying which group they are supposed to be. the playing is great and the quality of the songwriting first class. as said before this is an absolute lost masterpiece. they must have had a great time in the studio doing this, the disc has surface marks but it plays fine all the way through with the occasional bit of background noise. the cover is a gatefold. on the inside of the cover it has photos of the group in studiio recording the album. the cover is fully intact with no tears, splits or writing but it does have some general wear due to age, nothing you can specifically point to though to identify as a fault, it just looks old. this album was made i think before he did his famous walkabout. please do not buy expecting an excellent disc with no marks. postage discounts apply if buying more than one item .
