I am grading according to RC scale, but obviously it is my interpretation. Please bear in mind that I am not a record dealer or 'professional' in this area!
The album's condition is:
The record shows some signs that it was played many times and handled by my husband (Jimi Hendrix is still one of his all time favourite rock guitarists). Generally, there has been good care of it. I have played the album. There is no major deterioration in sound quality, there is some surface noise which is evident when playing (pops, tics.....but no skips though), especially in the softer passages such as during start/end of tracks, but certainly does not affect the music (in my opinion). The record is not warped. There are no visible/'feelable' signs of any scuffs or very light scratches and certainly nothing that affected my listening experience. The labels have no writing on them. There is no noticeable wear/discolouration on the labels and the centre hole is fine. Please see the photos.
The cover shows normal wear and tear at the edges and where the GF has been open and shut but there are no major defects and it looks dead flat to me!
The LP inner sleeves show that they are 40 years old but no major problems.
