his record is a Test Press ACETATE (6 copies made).sticker on label glued
This type of record is very special, the recording source is directly engraved (as a single piece, one by one).The vinyl is "heavy" vinyl (looks metallic). Because of its age and because it is an ACETATE, the record shows some marks that seem to be important (see pictures); but those marks were already there when I bought it, more than 40 years ago ! There are a few crackles that are 'normal' for an old vinyl record...
As far as I could find out, it should be possible to clean the record, but because it is fragile, I do not want to try anything, if I am not 100% sure that it won't affect the vinyl.
I can attest that I played this record only once to check if the sound is right and it is !
