PLAY Joy Division – Closer 1980 UK translucent red vinyl Label: Factory – FACT·XXV, Factory – FACT. 25 Format: Vinyl, LP, Album, Straight Corners, Translucent Country: UK Released: 1980 Genre: Rock Style: New Wave, Post-Punk
FACT·XXV on cover FACT. 25 on labels Matrix / Runout (Side A, variant 1): FACT 25 A1 OLD BLUE ? Matrix / Runout (Side B, variant 1): FACT 25 B-1
Pressed on translucent red vinyl. The cover and inner sleeve are not textured.
Condition: the vinyl is VG+ to EX condition with minimal scuffing and very minimal effect on play. The fist track on side 2 has about 60 seconds of extremely soft underlying surface noise that one can barely hear - however for about 2 seconds during this passage the noise gets louder - approaching half as loud as the music. The last two tracks on side 2 each have about 3 clicks that are at a super soft volume that one can barely hear and there are about 3 seconds in the fade out of track 2 side one with super soft surface noise that, again, one can barely hear.
The cover is EX condition. The inner sleeve is EX with a bit of impression of the record showing. Nothing significant at all. No seam splitting.
