PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THE INFO BELOW ONCE BEFORE BIDDING ON MY AUCTIONS…
Grading: All records are graded visually under halogen (very strong) light. All records listed should play well regardless visual condition, but please check the sound-files as there might be something I have missed or something that disturbs you more than me. Grades used are: M- (my highest grade - perfect or near perfect) / EX+ (just a tad below M-) / EX (light superficial wear) / VG+ (medium amount of superficial wear, as well as the odd light scratch, but plays well) / VG (can have quite a lot of superficial wear and lighter scratches, but should still play well) / VG- (a lot of wear and scratches - if listed it either plays well or it's a rare collectors piece regardless condition). Grading is strict and in the end made on the basis that it would be the kind of record I'd like to receive when buying (from a collectors point of view). I try to describe everything as well as possible, but in case I’ve missed something, you just have to let me know and we’ll work it out in a satisfactory way.
Sound-files are taken from the actual record for sale - sound is better in real life, in 99% of the cases. I use a Rega P3 with AudioTechnica arm and a Goldring 2200 needle. It is much more fragile/receptive than a Technics.
Shipping: All records are sent as registered/signed for mail only and the cost is £7 (up to 5 records - after that it doubles and if it turns out cheaper I refund the excess). The actual price I pay when sending from Italy, for up to 250 grams, is Europe: 8,50 Euros, Rest of the world: 11-12 Euros. When sent frmo Sweden it costs me even more. Records are sent from Italy or Sweden, depending on where I am when the payment is received. PLEASE DON’T SAY YOU DIDN’T SEE THIS AFTER THE AUCTION HAS ENDED AND IT’S TIME TO PAY. I KNOW YOU READ THE GRADING, SO... ;) PLEASE DON’T BID IF YOU FEEL IT’S TOO MUCH AND YOU’LL COMPLAIN ABOUT IT AFTERWARDS OR LEAVE LESS THAN 5-STAR FEEDBACK ON SHIPPING COSTS - IT AFFECTS MY FEES AND VISIBILITY. BIDDING = AGREEING ON TERMS IN FULL. I’M A NICE GUY WITH HIGH POSTAGE COSTS DUE TO WHAT THEY CHARGE ME – NOT BECAUSE I WANT TO. EBAY BUYER PROTECTION FORCES ME TO SEND AS REGISTERED MAIL AND IT'S WHAT IT COSTS. JUST LOOK AT THE PRICE ON THE POSTAL STAMP WHEN IT ARRIVES – IT’S GOING TO SAY AT LEAST 8.50 EUROS, IF NOT MORE. LOVE, OSCAR
Packing: The are sent well packed in new cardboard fold-around mailers with stiffeners on each side (The mailers are not UK-style envelope mailers, but German – bought from Sapphirerecords dot de) All records with PS are sent in a separate poly-lines paper sleeve and for maximum protection the PS is usually put in a Japanese sleeve and then inserted into the ”normal” plastic sleeve, separated from, but still together with the record. Records without PS are put in a new poly-lined paper sleeve and are usually accompanied by their company or generic vintage sleeve inside the plastic cover (see description of each item). The few records that don’t have an original sleeve will be sent in the poly-lined sleeve only, with plastic cover. I don’t use used plastic sleeves etc. Either it’s brand new just before shipping or it’s the new one it got when I picked it up.
Payment: PayPal or bank transfer.
