Two lps EX; 4-pg notes booklet EX; "AMM Factsheet" insert EX; band photo insert EX-; outer box EX- (very nice -- all corners intact, no structural trouble; only minor rubbing to edges of white areas, and some tanning/spotting to title spine). *** The brilliant, groundbreaking, mammoth double album from this brilliant, groundbreaking, pioneering group!!! It hurts like hell to give this one up... Well, at least I got to own it all of these years, and I have enjoyed this heavy treasure of group sound/thought more than you can know. Anyhow, in case you don't know the scoop, this was the second AMM full-length release and is, simply, one of the cornerstones of experimental music. NOTHING else from 1968 can even approach this titan, and this boxed set on Eddie Prevost's own Matchless label is a gorgeous presentation of this vital document! Keith Rowe's pop-art cover is a classic, and the inserts are lovely -- just the total epitome of self-produced genius, here! Needles to say, I consider this an absolute must have for any adventurous listener!
