Description

  33 1/3 rpm      -International Records LP 5021 - PROMO COPY (stamp on back)         ENNIO BOLOGNINI "Magic Sounds of Bolognini"   (1958)  //   Jacket:  VG (super bright & glossy but back seam - left side- is split the entire way.  Bottom seam split about 2 inches in the middle)    Vinyl:   VG+  (play graded, I played this phenomonal LP and there is just some light background surfae wear in a few places.  Sound is outstanding!)   


It is no exaggeration to call this a rare LP.  Ennio Bolognini made no others - he did this one so brillaintly, why bother with more?  He is pictured with his $35K (at that time) Stradivarius cello.  I believe his instrument is now in the Smithsonian.  He was the undisputed master of his craft - now this LP is your chance to hear, and own, his fabulous sound.

Given the level of interest expressed in this LP, I felt I should point out that, on the third song on Side Two (Serenata Del Gaucho), which is a softer piece, there is a persistent "pop" that is quite audible through a good portion of the piece. There is some light noise here and there in other spots on the record, but overall the listening experience is great. "VG+" is a broad grading term with records, I have found - as a comic book guy I am used to more precise grading terminology. This record is not in perfect condition, but it has very good sound. I hope this helps clarify the condition a bit. I would not want anyone to be misled. Thank you for your interest.
