Description
Here is a stellar copy of this extremely hard to find hard rock masterpiece on Roko Records 1979. This band were from Hawaii. Sure, the guys were ugly, had a lead singer named Tookie Dauzat and a coke bottle glass wearing geeky japanese guy with the completely un rock and roll name of Stanley Mishina on lead guitar, but these guys, IMO, wrote a couple of the best tunes not written by Angus and Malcolm Young. "Hard As A Rock" IS IMO the best song AC/DC never wrote (ironically, with same title). The album contains two other masterpieces, "Electrified" and "Blame It On Rock And Roll". Tookie has a bit of a goofy yelp at times that sounds unintentionally amusing during a couple poorly executed delays on the vocal track in Electrified (indie production, ya know) but you can hear the cocky swagger in his voice across the nine tracks. Simply put, these guys knew how to rock. This record MUST be played at 11 and please ensure the windows are rattling. This album is that good.
