Description
Up for auction is a very rare 45 RPM Doo Wop record from the late 50's
John Tefteller got this one in his august auction of rare doo-wop/vocalgroup 45 RPM's - as a promo, too - and starts with a minimum bid of $ 300,- (!!!)
I will start with a much lower minimum bid - so you got the chance to get this rarity for a reasonable price.

After some trouble with their record company (Back Beat Records, owned by Don Robey) Norman Fox and the Rob-Roys get a new contract with Capitol Records, but the one and only record on Capitol came out and was shelved by Capitol, because of the earlier contract with Back Beat Records. So the record died before it really started and now it's a great rarity. See the internetpage above for more information!

Norman Fox & The Rob Roys - Pizza Pie / Dream Girl / Capitol F 4128 / USA Original Pressing ca. 1958/59 - comes in a Capitol companysleeve (repro)
ultrarare Doo-Wop single - "Pizza Pie" is a uptempo song, "Dream Girl" is a great Doo-Wop ballad.
Condition: Let's start with the labels: It's a radio-station copy, that means you have some writing on both sides and a sticker on on side (see pictures for that). Someone removed a part of the sticker and do some painting with a ballpen. Please see the pictures of both sides. The Vinyl on the "Pizza Pie" side is in very, very good condition. Only one little scuff (can't feel and can't hear this one) on this side (VG++), The "Dream Girl" side is in MINT- condition! Overall you get a great copy!
Postage: I live in germany so the postage will be as follows: Send as a letter (in a 45 RPM cardbox mailer) without insurance via airmail = 6,- us-dollar.
