This is patrinell staten I let a good man go / little love affair sepia records 8201 this is an original 60`s pressing not a reissue . Patrinell staten was born in carthage texas the daughter of a preacher she moved to seattle Washington in the early 1960`s formed her own group pat wright & the cassanovas. they played mostly in local clubs. In 1967 she was discovered singing in a local church By LaVera clark owner of sepia records. but she only recorded one 45 wich she also wrote . I let a good man go / little love affair the 45 was played a lot in the seattle area but not much any where else. Some copies of this song has a mispressing of I let a good man go this one has the correct title and song.. The record is in very good condition the label has light wear no markings or stickers . the record has hairline scuffs and a few light scratches nothing you can feel mostly scuffs . when played this record sounds great I mean really good it has light surface noise in the beginning mostly light poping sound wich goes away after about 30 seconds into the songthe surface noise does not over power the sound of the record in any way. you can hear the actual record on you tube patrinell staten I let a good man go ( by Edward stone) patrinell staten little love affair ( by Edward stone)
