rare 1966 NOTES FROM the UNDERGROUND Changes EP

THIS AUCTION LOT CONSISTS OF:   One rare original  4-song EP disc recorded by Notes From the Underground (and issued in 1966 as Changes EP #601). The legendary band consisted of: Fred Sokolow, Mark Mandell, Mike O'Connor, & Peter Otwald. Songs included are "Where Does Love Go," "Down In The Basement," What Am I Doing Here," & "Got To Get Out of This Dream." This EP which was recorded at Sierra Sound in Berkeley California -- comes with a thick cardboard sleeve -- similar to those issued by other Haight Ashbury / Berkeley based hippie / psychedelic folk- rock bands like Country Joe & the Fish, Frumious Bandersnatch, and Mad River of those early times. Notes From the Underground performed at many early hippie dances and were included on lot's of Bill Graham / Fillmore era posters.

SIZE:   7-inch

CONDITION:   Sleeve is in fabulous shape, having been protected in a plastic sleeve for the 20+ years I've owned it.  Vinyl disc is in excellent VG++ shape. Beautiful unit.
