THEMES IN BEAT - LIBRARY Lp by H.THIEME. Original UK pressing on HARMONIC / C. BRULL label (CBW 660), from 1973
Desirable and seldom seen UK Library session that includes the amazing psychedelic funk theme DIRTY DRUGS comped on Dusty Fingers Vol. 5 (the same compilation with Soft Wind by the Gary Pacific Group). Killer drum breaks / funky loops and beats into a groove with heavily treated fuzz guitar / fender bass / buzz flute / hammond and funky jazz horn section. Great for DJs. Midway through PARTY TIME is yet another funky open drum break that many will not be aware of. Aggressive mood-music and groovy mod themes with lots more sleazy drums on here too. Quintessentially English sound a la Keith Mansfield and definitely the rarest Harmonic / C. Brull Library.
