Description

    Artist: Guttorm Guttormsen Quartet Record: Soturnudi Label: Mai Year: 1975
Condition LP / Cover: Mint - / VG++

My personal taste tells me this is one of my favorite Norwegian jazz releases. Melodic modern Jazz with a slight touch of folk, beautifully played by the multi talented reeds man and flutists Guttorm Guttormsen. A musical child prodigy that grew up in the North of Norway. This album is getting the hype it deserves and I am glad to offer this in Near mint condition. Released on the Norwegian Left wing label MAI records. The whole album is a great listen from start to finish but check out the killer opening 'title track' track 'new latin' and 'Posét'. Other players on the album is Brynjulf Blix, Espen Rud and Carl Morten Iversen.

Also auctioned this time is the superrare first album by Norwegian reeds man Jan Garbarek. Check 'TIL VIGDIS'
