GANG OF FOUR "Solid Gold" (EMI EMC 3313) original UK 1979 stereo 1st pressing (white label)
CLASSIC FIRST PRESSING TEST PRESS! Superb album, presented here as a rare YELLOW LABEL test pressing. So obviously the earliest pressing that exists...confirmed by earliest 1G / 1G mother stampers (they don't come lower - 1 on the left side, G on the right (G being first letter in GRAMOPHLTD - so the equivalent of a 1). Complete with proof sleeve (folds out, with no edges glued or flaps) and card release sheet and 4 page DEALER NOTES biography, on blue GANG OF FOUR headed paper. NICE!

CONDITION : VG+/M- (Sleeve/Record)
DESCRIPTION : The record looks unplayed (no spindle marks) but has a couple of ultra-light paper scuffs - generally superb. Labels perfect. Sleeve shows some light wear (there's no spine, it's been folded by hand) especially along edges, since these are exposed. Release sheet and press release are perfect. All round nice copy.

SMALL PRINT : I am first and foremost a collector, and grade strictly as I wish everyone would. Records will be well-packed between cardboard, and sent in record mailers. In the interests of the environment, these will be recycled whenever possible. Albums will be removed from outer sleeve to avoid seam splits in transit. All records are sent with a certificate of posting.
