Description
Up for auction is this sealed 2nd press 2 lp record set of the first Chicago release from 1969. The record number is Columbia GP 8. This sealed album also has both rare hype stickers for this release. The stickers are near mint condition with a small amount of ringwear on them. The hype stickers are applied to the factory shrink and not the cover. The record cover is sealed from corner to corner with only one 1/4" break in the seal on the mouth seam and one 1/2" nick in the shrink on the rear cover. . The cover has 4 square corners with no wear at all. There are 2 factory breath holes on the front. Thanks and good luck Frank. This sealed album says "Chicago Transit Authority 1" on the spine. On an opened copy i have does not have the "1" printed. Maybe this is an early 70's press after so many hit songs came off the record. Thanks again Frank.
