simon and garfunkel BOOKENDS lp MONO w/ POSTER rare

on the columbia records label, mono pressing, from 1968.   12 tracks.  yet another classic lp from simon and garfunkel, this one has the tough to find original poster included.....and the best part is that it is the very rare MONO pressing.   mono in 1968 is virtually impossible to find, especially as a stock copy.  poster is in excellent condition, has no holes, was probably never taken out of lp.  check my auctions for several others by them, buy a bunch and save on shipping.  cover is VG/VG+, with moderate seam wear on bottom seam, light corner and other seam wear, moderate ring/rub wear, and 1/4" split in lower right corner.   vinyl looks VG/VG+, with a few marks, but plays wonderfully, with only occasional light noise, in fact all of side two plays beautifully, i hesitate to use the adjective perfectly, but i think that would be correct in this case.   side one plays with an occasional quiet pop or click, but very few and far between......a nice example of this tough to find mono pressing.   vinyl has been cleaned on a VPI.   check my other auctions this week for many more great classic rock, psych, private,  prog,  folk,  xian & other miscellaneous freak-outs........lots of great stuff this week, buy a bunch and save on shipping.
