on the ajp (ahmad jamal productions) records label, stereo pressing, from 1970. 17 tracks. full title: the stark reality discovers hoagy carmichael's music shop.....music from the wgbh/21" classroom television series. incredible rarity, near impossible to find original press of this funk/psych masterpiece......this is a holy grail of the genre. two pocket gatefold cover is VG+, with some light ring wear, some light seam and corner wear, and a 3" split in top right corner (in one of the two pockets). vinyl is strong VG+, the only thing keeping it from NM- is a side long light mark that DOES NOT sound, i played it all the way through and it plays NM-! vinyl has been cleaned on a VPI. an excellent copy of a very rare lp.....don't let it slip away. check my other auctions for many more funk/soul records, many still in the shrink, as well as a batch of rare northern soul singles, and some other lp's as well....lots of great stuff this week. all records are original pressings unless noted....i do not sell current reissues. please ask any questions early, as i am not always by my computer near the end of auctions. buyer pays shipping. all records are shipped in dedicated record mailers, with cardboard inserts. i accept money orders and paypal. priority shipping within the US is $6.00. airmail shipping to EUROPE is $11.00. airmail shipping to JAPAN is $14.00. sorry, but i will not ship surface overseas, i've had too many things lost in the mail via surface shipping. payment is expected within 10 days of auction end. thanks for looking, and good luck.
