Description
CLP.1152 on HMV label. 1958 Alma Cogan with Orchestra conducted by Frank Cordell album "I Love To Sing". Tracks are: I Love To Sing, They Can't Take That Away From Me, Ain't we Got Fun, Today I Love Ev'rybody, As Time Goes By, Life Is Just a Bowl Of Cherries, Taking A Chance On Love, You Do Something To Me, Cheek To Cheek, if This Isn't Love, Comes Love, Blue Skies.
This terrific and very rare album is in superb excellent++ to near mint condition. The vinyl shines absolutely beautifully and has literally not a mark. Fantastic condition. The labels are superbly clean and show no spindle marks at all and have no damage to or around the spindle holes at all. No marks or writing on the labels.
The fully laminated cover with half moon flip over flaps has a small tear of 2.5 centimetres near the bottom of the front opening edge and a 2 centimetre tear just above the bottom opening edge. These are neat tears and could be repaired very neatly with tape on the underside.There are no other rips, splits or tears. Lovely spine with no crushing and no fraying along the opening edges. There is a thin strip of laminate peeling along the opening edges, no laminate lifting or peeling elsewhere.
Fabulous rare album. Superb example.
