Description
USTAD MOHAMMED SAYEED KHAN - versatile (popular) - B.R. 786.83003
Ustad Mohammad (one half of legendary Indian duo Khan Bandhu) did another LP which was entirely traditional, but this one, like the title suggests, was an attempt at crossing over. He did so successfully on several tracks, using synths along with traditional compositions, but there are a proper disco track and a reggae-ish song. Has a simialr feel to 'Ghazal on disco' by Desire Heinze (also on auction, and also featuring Khan Bandhu)
