Verve - A Storm In Heaven Vinyl LP (Hut Recordings - HUTLP 10)  OOP

Up for auction is the ultra-rare and OOP original vinyl release of A Storm In Heaven by Verve.  I am the original owner and since it’s purchase the record has been played three times, stored upright in a protective sleeve, and living in a smoke free home!  The vinyl and sleeve are both in beautiful condition excellent+ / excellent+.  The vinyl is graded ex+ only because of some brief pops on side b (the record did this the first time I played it - a pressing issue). The sleeve is in remarkably fantastic condition, especially for it’s age.  Very minor shelf wear.  No bends or seam splits!   Overall, this is a very fine piece of vinyl goodness.  You’ll probably never see a nicer copy.

As a bonus, I am also including an 8 1/2 x 11 “Storm In Heaven’ era glossy flyer SIGNED (w/ a red sharpie) by all four members (Richard Ashcroft, Nick McCabe, Simon Jones, and Peter Salisbury).  Look at the Photo!!!   I got this signed during their first American tour when they played in Mesa, AZ @ Hollywood Alley back in 1993.  The following week I bought the above record.   

I am also including a Verve promotional sticker that I picked up at a Tower Records that promotes their later tour (that same year - 1993) with Porno For Pyros.  The sticker got bent during storage, but it is still a cool piece of Verve history.  

You ask: Why is he selling this?  My answer: I hate to let this go, however we are expecting our first child and thus my vinyl collection is going to take a minor hit to help with the expenses of being parents (diapers, etc...).
