I recently had the good fortune to buy a big collection of both 60's AND 80's Garage, Punk & Psychedelic LPs and 7"s from a trusted collector who bought them all at the time...and who'd kept them so well...anything he bought new was still MINT or M- (true, there were also a few old original 60's items in whatever condition he found them in)...but the bottom line is, he had amazingly good taste, and the gems he had were carefully handpicked for excellence.

Anyway, this is one of that collection.

::CONDITION (cover/record): (VG++ / EX- ) ...cover has sticker stain on the front, and tear at the opening edge on the back (see pic)...vinyl is beautiful, with a few light marks only...plays very close to mint!...

::LABEL CONDITION:

'A' side: MINT

'B' side: MINT

This 45 is so friggin' worthy on two fronts...the 'A' side is quite simply one of THEE greatest power-pop/punk-pop tunes ever...I mean EVVAH!!!...it has so much goddamn melody it's scary...the hookline is catchy as all hell...and then there's the other side...what you get there is a tough snotty punk-pop, with spat-out lyrics about how p*ssed off he is about his girl who's obviously dumped him ("I offered you my heart, But you kicked me in the face, Now you've got some other fool, To come and take my place"...and..."I need you now, buy you don't care"...he's hurtin' bad, but it's all so friggin' awesome!!)...this hardly ever comes up, but is completely essential...I couldn't believe it when I spotted this in this guy's collection...
