The Faces - `First Step`
On the ORIGINAL / ORANGE Warner label !!
I would grade the sleeve conservatively as very good+ to Excellent - .........Generally it is very clean with NO grubby marks or writing and such but it does have general storage wear to the very edges and corners. Also, there is a sticker removal mark to the front, top left......it may be visible in the photo`.
The spine remains fully legible.
The vinyl , itself, is quite exceptional showing only VERY FEW of the SLIGHTEST hairlines from sliding in and out of the original poly-sleeve.... perhaps some dust has found it`s way in there over the years ?
The faintest, few spindle marks suggest little play and I confirmed this for myself by playing it all the way through on a high quality t/t and BRAND NEW Dynavector moving coil cartridge.
It revealed MINIMAL surface noise and NO groove damage at all !!.....Super audio quality.
This LP has been in my own collection for a number of years and is now offered for sale because I`ve recently acquired, at HUGE (!!) expense, a virtually unused copy.
These earely examples really are becoming quite thin on the ground, now, and any half decent copy is becoming sought after...... This, I would say, is rather better than that and ought to be worthy of consideration by any serious collector/dealer.
Packaging will, of course, be very strong.
