The best rolling stones album in my opinion, Its a fantastic mix of blues, psych, blue grass, and voodoo, lyrically quite adventurous and musically amazing, basically its the blue print of all great modern rock classics... you know it primal scream, but here it doesn't sound contrived at all, they lived and breathed rock n roll and like all pioneers. They were the first heavily persecuted rock band in this country by the gutter press, and in sympathy for the devil they reached new glorious heights of creativity, Jagger playing the wild card and throwing it back in our faces, '' Please to meet you hope you guess my name, but whats confusing you is the nature of my game''.
The condition of the record and cover-
The condition of the laminated gatefold sleeve is in near mint condition, all the text is clear and readable on the spine, this is quite rare as they are prone to splitting and wear, not this one, its amazing.
The condition of the vinyl is excellent, almost mint.
The audio is the same, no clicks or bumps and it plays beautifully.
The labels are excellent but on side, on the bottom corner someone has signed it in ink in small letters I R,
Graded using the record collectors book which grades as follows-
MINT- the record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
Excellent- the record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/ or creasing.
Very good - the record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable
